Rue de l’Océan started with us - two friends who, despite being different found common ground in our love for the ocean, dedication to surfing and admiration for timeless style.

Days spent chasing waves turned into nights sharing good wine. Somewhere in between we dreamed up a brand. A way to bring together people who value adventure, elegance and a life well-lived.

Oh, and we both happened to live in the same street « Rue de l’Océan » in Biarritz —which, let’s be honest, sounds way too perfect to ignore. 

Our ambition ? 

To design clothes that flow as effortlessly as the tide. Whether you’re chasing waves or wandering through the city our pieces blend timeless elegance with laid back practicality.

We're inspired by the bold, free spirit of 1960’s America, when quality mattered and adventure was a way of life. And yes, we are French - so we brought our own touch to the mix.
